Educational leaders and blogging

School leaders should find blogging to be a very useful tool.  Publishing new findings can produce professional growth and collaboration amongst leaders.  Educational leaders can blog about new research they are conducting including their progress and findings.  Blogging can create a network between educational leaders where they can post commentary and suggestions for best practices.  Posting about your thoughts can also help you revisit items you might have forgotten about.  Educational leaders become so overwhelmed with daily tasks and needs that issues are put on the back burners never to be revisited again.  Blogging helps revisit and replenish these issues to be brought back to the surface and dealt with.  Sometimes leaders might find the answer they are looking for by simple self inquiry!  When you take action towards an issue you might find just the solution you're seeking along the way.

  1. I like your idea about blogging among educational leaders in research. How neat would it be to collaborate and create a research plan across multiple campuses or even districts.
